Studio Playground Testimonials, Grant Awards, and Publications
Studio Playground is dedicated to fostering community and individual growth for children in Rhode Island by using the performing arts to create social change. Our programs and productions support students in their individual growth and inspires audiences to engage in meaningful discourse by enacting our core values: inclusivity, empowerment, and social change.
Studio Playground teaches classes for all ages based in movement and physical theater. Classes explore the benefits of laughter through performance and playful improvisation. Our parterships include after-school programs, guest classes, and professional development workshops. We are proud to partner with organizations that share our commitment to providing access to arts education and creating a positive social impact through performance. Our partners in Rhode Island and Massachusetts include the Boys and Girls Club of Providence, Boston Children’s Museum, Providence Children’s Museum, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Cambridge Public Schools, Moses Brown School, Jacqueline Walsh School for the Arts, Rocky Hill Country Day School, and the American Alliance for Theatre and Education.
